About a year ago, I created Litter Lee the doll as a friend to help recycle my scraps through out the week. He’s been keeping a lot of little scraps and just shared some of them that he’s been having a hard time letting go of since we left San Francisco.
+ adoption certificate of a record I saved from Amoeba + gum that lost flavor the fastest + a bobby pin/ house key alternative + Wel Come toothpicks we picked up while leaving a restaurant on our anniversary dinner + a nice note from a visiting friend
Oreo and I worked together on a super fun project as part of their welcoming to Tumblr! They gave me creative freedom to invent a new way to eat Oreos, and I was elated to make smores indoors.
Whether you have agoraphobia or are trying to cope with a rained out camping trip, indoor camping can be a super fun activity!
Gather all of your house plants
chop up your empty paper towel rolls (a.k.a. bundle of wood)
drag your christmas lights out of storage
pitch your tent and grab some Oreos to make your own fun cookie camping creations!
I was going to do an end of the year post, but I’ve decided to not look back.
I was going to write down a list of resolutions for 2014, but resolutions are only good for remembering what you did differently for the first couple of months of the year, by the end of the 12 months.
All in all, my upcoming goals are modest and simple, this year. Besides working toward a clearer visual identity for myself, I’d like to accomplish the following:
- Clear out my closet of oversized band shirts and invest in more good quality, bright and simple pieces
- Find a weekly fitness routine that I love (hello again, NTC)
- Continue making our house a home
I would sit at my office desk way more often if this were my office chair.
I recently started trying to get the hang of the Vine app. I hated it for a while, but now I think we’re becoming friends. The restrictions of trying to make something cohesive within a 6 second time frame, drove me crazy at first.
Then after getting a bit stir crazy on a recent road trip from one edge of California to the other, I started using Vine to record the slightly spastic antics of my friends, Lazy Pigeon and the Blind Chauffeur!
How they get anything together, is just beyond me.
